What should you eat?

Get lots of fruits & vegetables. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, and help to strengthen your immune system. Vegetables and fruits are high in fiber which helps to digest and fill you up. Aim to eat five to six servings of fruit or veg each day.

Get plenty of water. Water flushes toxins from the body and gives you a full feeling between meals. Drink about eight glasses each day.

Refined grains should be replaced with whole grains. Whole grains contain all of their nutrients, including B vitamins and iron. Some nutrients have been removed from refined grains.

Avoid sugary drinks. Sugary drinks are full of empty calories and lead to obesity. Instead, opt for water, milk, or unsweetened tea.

Avoid fast food. Fast food is very low in nutrition. While it might taste good, it won't give your body the energy it needs to function properly. Choose healthier options like salads, soups and sandwiches as well as pasta dishes.

Reduce your alcohol intake. Alcohol contains empty calories and contributes to poor nutrition. Limit the number of alcoholic beverages you consume per week to no more that two.

Reduce red meat intake. Red meats are high in saturated fat and cholesterol. Lean cuts of beef or pork, lamb and chicken, as well as fish and turkey, are better choices.

Which diet is best for me?

There are many factors that influence the best diet, including your gender, age, weight, health condition, lifestyle, and personal preferences. It is also important to think about how much energy you use during exercise and whether you like low-calorie foods.

If you are trying to lose weight, then you may want to try intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting involves consuming only specific meals throughout the day, rather than having three large meals. You might find this way to be more beneficial than traditional diets, which have daily calorie counts.

Research suggests that intermittent fasting may increase insulin sensitivity and reduce inflammation. This can result in improved blood sugar levels as well as a lower risk of developing diabetes. Other studies suggest that intermittent fasting could promote fat reduction and improve overall body structure.

Exercise: Good or Bad for Immunity?

Exercise is good for your immune systems. Your body makes white blood cells that fight infections when you exercise. You can also eliminate toxins from the body. Exercise helps prevent diseases like cancer and heart disease. It also reduces stress levels.

But, too much exercise can lead to a weakening of your immune system. When you exercise too hard, your muscles will become sore. This can cause inflammation and swelling. Your body then has to produce more antibodies to fight off infection. However, these antibodies can also cause allergic reactions and autoimmune diseases.

So, don't overdo it!
