If you are an older adult and are looking for a fun and informative event, then look no further. A Senior Fair is a great opportunity to learn about various health related resources available to you. You can meet up with friends and family and also enjoy a range of health screenings, YMCA demonstrations, and vendor displays. You can even see exhibits from your favorite museum.

Lifescape Senior Expo, a fair that focuses on home-improvement, healthcare and information, is unique. Seniors will have the opportunity to compete in friendly matches in the "Senior Bowl". For those interested in financial planning and retirement, the Lifescape Senior Expo will offer several exhibitors as well.

The Home Health Fair will take place at the Electric City Trolley Museum on Friday, October 14. This event will be sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, DePeetro's Pharmacy, and One Point. It will offer attendees the chance to receive free flu shots and receive a health assessment.

The CEO Weinberg Food Bank also will provide healthy cooking demonstrations. All attendees can receive a free lunch for the first 300. However, you will need to bring your Medicare Part B and Part D cards.

Many sponsors will offer door prizes and giveaways. River's Edge Bookstore and Walmart are the door prize sponsors. Goodyear Auto Service, Stefano's Pizzeria Cafe and Goodyear Auto Service are also goodyear auto service.


You will need to bring your Medicare Parts B card and D card if you want to get a free flu vaccine. Flu shots can be obtained throughout the day. CNY Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry will provide food boxes to all attendees. These boxes include fresh produce, frozen goods, and shelf stable items.

Additional special events are also planned. You can enjoy free admission to the Great New York State Fair for certain groups. For active/retired firefighters or emergency service members, you can gain free admission on Thursday, Aug 23rd, and Friday August 30, respectively. Fidelis care Youth Student Day will offer all youth 18 and younger free admission on Saturday, Aug 21.

It is very hard to find a balanced diet and exercise routine when you work fulltime and do all these things at the same time. It becomes even harder if you are stressed out because your mind tells us that we cannot handle this situation anymore so we start feeling guilty and give up.

If your body feels ill, it most likely is. You should see a doctor and ask him/her what he/she thinks about your current condition. If there is nothing abnormal, then it might just be stress from your job.

Some people believe they are fortunate because their jobs enable them to regularly go to the gym or because they have good friends who help them stay fit. But those people are actually lucky. These people have no problems. They control everything. I wish every person could be like them. Most people don't know how balance work and life. Bad habits can lead to heart disease, diabetes, and other diseases.

These tips can help you improve your lifestyle.

  1. Sleeping 7 hours a night minimum, 8 hours maximum is the ideal amount. This includes proper sleeping positions and avoiding caffeine during the last hour before going to bed. Caffeine blocks the production of melatonin hormones and makes it harder to fall asleep. You should also ensure that your bedroom has a dark, clean environment. Blackout curtains are a must, especially if you work late at nights.
