If you're an older adult who is looking for something fun and informative, look no further. The Senior Fair offers a unique opportunity to find out about the many health-related resources that are available to you. You can meet up with friends and family and also enjoy a range of health screenings, YMCA demonstrations, and vendor displays. You can even check out the exhibits from your favorite museums.

Lifescape Senior Expo is an exclusive fair featuring businesses that focus on healthcare, information and home improvement. Seniors can also engage in friendly competition in the "Senior Bowl" Lifescape Senior Expo has many exhibitors who will be available to assist those with financial planning or retirement.

The Home Health Fair, which will take place on Friday, Oct 14th, at the Electric City Trolley Museum, is another exciting event. The event is sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and DePeetro's Pharmacy. Participants will have the opportunity to get free flu shots as well as a health assessment.

The CEO Weinberg Food Bank also will provide healthy cooking demonstrations. Attendees can enjoy a free lunch on the first 300 people who attend. But, your Medicare Part B/Part D cards are required.

Many sponsors will offer door prizes and giveaways. River's Edge Bookstore will be providing door prizes. Goodyear Auto Service, Walmart, Goodyear Auto Service and Stefano's Pizzeria Cafe will also be participating.


For those who are interested in getting a free flu shot, you will need to bring your Medicare Parts B and D card. Flu shots can be obtained throughout the day. CNY Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry will provide food boxes to all attendees. These boxes can be used to store fresh produce, refrigerator items and shelf-stable goods.

You will also find other special events. The Great New York State Fair, for example, offers free admission to certain groups. For active/retired firefighters or emergency service members, you can gain free admission on Thursday, Aug 23rd, and Friday August 30, respectively. Fidelis Youth Student Day is Saturday, August 21st. All youth under 18 years old will be granted free admission.

This project had the main objective of providing a step-by–step guide to living a healthier lifestyle. The first part of the project consisted of writing the introduction, which explains what a healthy lifestyle is, why people should adopt a healthy lifestyle and who we are. The body paragraphs are a collection of tips on how to live a healthy life. Finally, I wrote the conclusion, which summarizes the whole article and provides some additional resources if needed.

I learned how to create a concise and clear paragraph through this assignment. Also, I learned how to organize my ideas into topic sentences and supporting details. Furthermore, I was able to improve my research skills by being able to identify specific sources and correctly cite them. Lastly, I gained knowledge on how to use proper grammar when writing.
