If you're a senior adult looking for an educational and entertaining event, look no further. A Senior Fair provides a wonderful opportunity to discover about different health resources. A Senior Fair is a great way to catch up with family and friends. You can also benefit from a variety medical screenings, YMCA demonstrations or vendor displays. You can even check out the exhibits from your favorite museums.

Lifescape Senior Expo features unique businesses that provide services in the areas of healthcare, information and home improvements. Seniors can also engage in friendly competition in the "Senior Bowl" Lifescape Senior Expo has many exhibitors who will be available to assist those with financial planning or retirement.

Another exciting event coming up is the Home Health Fair, which will be held on Friday, October 14th at the Electric City Trolley Museum. The event is sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and DePeetro's Pharmacy. Participants will have the opportunity to get free flu shots as well as a health assessment.

The CEO Weinberg Food Bank will also be providing healthy cooking demonstrations. The first 300 attendees will receive a complimentary lunch. You will need your Medicare Part B or Part D cards.

Door prizes and giveaways will be provided by several sponsors. Door prize sponsors include River's Edge Bookstore, Walmart, Goodyear Auto Service, and Stefano's Pizzeria Cafe.


If you are interested in a free flu shot, please bring your Medicare Parts B or D card. Flu shots will also be given throughout the day. CNY Food Bank will provide boxes of food for those who attend. These boxes will contain refrigerator items, fresh produce, shelf stable goods, and other food.

There are many other special events that are coming up. You can enjoy free admission to the Great New York State Fair for certain groups. On Thursday, August 23 and Friday, August 30, active/retired firefighters and emergency service members can get in for free. Fidelis Youth Student Day is Saturday, August 21st. All youth under 18 years old will be granted free admission.

Register for the Senior Fair here or stop by if you're interested. Participants can receive door prizes, a complimentary lunch, and many other amenities. Unlike past years, admission is free to adults 65 and over. All others will be charged $3 per head. Finally, we talked about sleep. Sleep is one the most important things we do every single day. Lack of sleep can lead to fatigue and stress.
