Senior Fairs and Conventions Coming Up in 2022

If you're an older adult who is looking for something fun and informative, look no further. A Senior Fair provides a wonderful opportunity to discover about different health resources. In addition to catching up with your friends and family, you can also take advantage of a variety of medical screenings, YMCA demonstrations and vendor displays. You can even visit your favorite museums' exhibits.

The Lifescape Senior Expo is a unique fair that will feature businesses specializing in healthcare, information, and home improvement. The event will also provide opportunities for seniors to engage in some friendly competition with each other in the "Senior Bowl." Lifescape Senior Expo is a great place to find information on retirement and financial planning.

A Home Health Fair is another exciting event that will be happening on Friday October 14th at Electric City Trolley Museum. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, DePeetro's Pharmacy and One Point will sponsor this event. The event will provide attendees with the chance to receive free flu shots, as well as a comprehensive health assessment.

Healthy cooking demonstrations will be provided by the CEO Weinberg Food Bank. Attendees can enjoy a free lunch on the first 300 people who attend. You'll need to bring your Medicare Part B/Part D cards.

Door prizes will be offered by many sponsors. River's Edge Bookstore and Walmart are the door prize sponsors. Goodyear Auto Service, Stefano's Pizzeria Cafe and Goodyear Auto Service are also goodyear auto service.

The CNY Food Bank's Mobile Food Pantry, will also be providing food boxes to attendees. These boxes will include refrigerator items, fresh produce, and shelf stable goods.

Other special events are also coming up. Certain groups are eligible for free admission at the Great New York State Fair. For active/retired firefighters or emergency service members, you can gain free admission on Thursday, Aug 23rd, and Friday August 30, respectively. All youth aged 18 or under can get in for free on Saturday, August 21 at Fidelis Care Youth Students Day

Admission is now free for adults over 65, as opposed to previous years. All other attendees will need $3 per person.
